Glass tubes can be pretty hard to come by. Go to Bed Bath & Beyond and pick up one of their stainless steel turkey basters. They're like $4 or something and perfect for the job. Take off the rubber end, knock off the needle of the included screw-on piece and it's a perfect fit for your butane canister.
but yeah you'll need a bit more than will fit in a pen. Don't really know what your options are for doing a really small batch.
