Whys it so dead today?
    #397916 - 04/07/10 07:43 PM (14 years, 7 months ago)

I've seen like no activity, and am being forced out of lurker mode.

Listening to Led Zeppelin smokin. Bout to roll a Wonderberry blunt to ride this nice storm out with.

On a seperate note, how much is a good camera?

Like takes good quality pictures, this spring I'm thinking about taking a lot of pictures around the river.

Last summer I might be here.

Thinking about K-state for 2011. Praying I don't need to dual major.

I just don't have anything worth starting a thread about. Life is Mediocre right now (However I prefer to shoot for mediocrity anyways).

Sooo, whats the use of a Biochemistry degree?

That is what I am planning on going for in grad school.

I'm going to Kansas State as a Jr. I'll be starting my Jr and Sr level Chem classes, and probably my Jr and Sr level Education classes (but I don't even know what they are.) I also have to fit a couple Biology classes in there to (taking intro right now).

I have so many fucking science classes ahead of me  :braindamage:

I'll have 64 Credit hours to transfer there.

My cousin was going to be a bio-engineer but she decided to play World of Warcraft instead. I'm guessing is probably challenging.

My bachelors degree will allow me to choose from a couple of grad degrees.

Might just do organic chem instead.

NOOOOO!!!!!!!  you want KU man.  haha jk.  My sis went to KSU, then later dropped out and went to Wichita State.  She had a marketing major.  I dont know about the different rankings for those science areas of study.  If we are able to meet up in early May I may have a gift for you to take up there in the fall.  :hamsterdance:

I had a roommate at ASU that had a biomedical engineering major.  He was native american with a name like an eye chart.  He was very bright with calculus and physics stuff.

Well I like just understanding how shit works, and organic chem to me is the most practical for that mindset.

My education is about my interests really, I'll fall into whatever job I qualify for. I plan on taking physics in any time between me graduating and grad school just for the mind blowingness.

When i checked into glass blowing in college i found that there were some really stupid prerequisete like organic chem or something way to difficult to justify going through to learn to blow glass.  So i guess look into that if that's an interest.  College is pretty cool, especially at a huge university where there are classes on just about everything.  from drug culture to terrorism and over to interdisciplinary study programs that allow you to work with people in other degree fields.  I wish i could have just stayed in college for ever.  Learning and doing drugs.

Yea, I'll probly have 2 years between graduation and grad school.

Also, I'm getting 2 associates degrees. It is so easy to get, you just need one extra arts for science. and one extra lab for arts.

I'm in Environmental Science here at Tulane.  Not looking forward to taking organic chem next year, but at least it will be interesting to learn how to synthesize acid/cocaine/meff/thizz.  BDS- I thought you must be pre-law doing all your debates and shit.  Science people = cool people.
