The admins are tired of this shitfest being made the joke of the weed community on the Internet.
Quote: mhbound said: yes, i have some of that stuff and it balances the pH to around 7 and removes the chlorine and shit
just follow the instructions on the back and get some pH test strips...a digital pH meter would be better but that are around 50 dollars and strips are about 5-10 until you can buy a nice one
NO. NO. NO.
aquarium conditioners are extremely toxic to plants they "remove" Chlorine by adding Sodium making table salt or NaCl (sodium chloride) big no no for plants.
This is probably the worst advice ever as it's worse than over fertilizing as there's residual damage and your medium remains toxic until the salt is gone.
If you want to remove Chlorine just degas your water with an airstone.

Better yet invest in an RO.

Some of you guys really just are not helpful at all. Go to another thread, those of that did help. Thanks for everything. I got 1.5 grams of bud right now (not dryed of course) not alot but im pretty happy with my 5 inch plant and the bud i got from it
K man, your attitude is fucking awful. 1.5grams of wet immature bud could be grown faster in a tea cup of yard soil.
I don't think anyone will help you if you say people aren't being helpful when you don't know SQUAT about growing. You had bathtub warm water, your aerogarden looks filthy as shit, you tried fertilizing your plant when it was having nutrient burn, I'm sure the list could go on. Doing a search and reading for 5 minutes would have answered all of these questions.
let me find info on the stuff i use koons, im pretty sure its not toxic to the plants..ill see. i use it as a last resort anyway, but i didnt know it was toxic...it doesnt seem to be when i use it
