My Pineapple Express grow.

Well, I accidentally stumbled across this site from the Shroomery, I can't believe they had a sister site this whole time I didn't know about. Well, what better way to post first than to share some pics of a pretty little bitch. This is the G13 Labs Pineapple Express, it was given away as a freebie from the Attitude a couple months ago. This one was vegged for a few short weeks, long enough to get some clones and then threw it into flower. I got 4 rooted clones vegging now that I will let get much older before flowering. She smells beautifully sweet, and naturally reminiscent of pineapples. If the strain came after the movie, they really found a nice girl to fit the role.

Thanks!
Yea guess I forgot some of the details. Growing in FFOF, 3 gallon pot. 600W Hortilux HPS, 2 26W 6500K CFLs for UVB and broader spectrum.
FF Grow Big, Tiger Bloom, Open Sesame, Mother Of All Blooms (MOAB- replaces Beastie Bloomz and Cha Ching), blackstrap molasses, Botanicare berry Sweet, Gravity, flush with Clearex. The pic is current and it is on day 40 of 12/12. It was vegged for about 3 weeks under CFLs only.

I figured I would post these pics I just took of a tester bud I took off this girl yesterday. She's gonna finish her 14 day flush either way, but I just wanted to see what she's workin' with potency wise. I'm impressed, and very glad I have some cuttings rooted and about a foot tall already. Some people will talk a lot of shit about the freebies from seed banks, but I'll let these pics do my talkin'....

yea the leaves can easily reach such a dark green it borders blue, but I didn't realize that the first go round. I thought I had them as dark as I could get them without burning, but with these clones I have going now I realize they can handle much more. I thought I had mine at a healthy green level before flowering and it yellowed up quick during the stretch, despite me dosing it with amounts of N that would burn some of my other plants. Well that is how first grows with a new strain go. My clones should be very nice, I have plenty of girls ahead in line to flower, so they are gonna veg for a long time.

hey harry, im currently growing some g13 labs pineapple express as well, they are just starting week 7 today. i noticed that it seems pretty common for this plant to turn really yellow. and im having that same problem. im feeding them enormous amounts of food, and im using advanced nutrients micro grow bloom as my base nutes. i have an EC of about 1.9 and a ph of 6.2 growing them in soil. i started with an EC of about 1.4 which i thought was still getting pretty high considering my other strains seem to thrive with my nutes at that concentration. just cant keep the PE green to save my life tho even after considerably boosting the N. do you have any pointers with growing this strain? here's a pic of the girls taken on day 48. also how long did u let your PE flower before givin then the chop?

Well PE is very nitrogen hungry so that's why they turn so yellow during flowering. Mine were never as green as my other plants at any point during the grow.
However, if you're at week 7 then I wouldn't worry about it, they look wonderful so far, and you're only about a week and a half from chopping I would guess. I didn't grow G13 labs version though, mine was pineapple kush x trainwreck, whereas G13 labs claims that there's is of unknown origin (). Kind of a pain in the ass because without knowing the parents you can't guess the finishing time

yeah, they are a VERY fast starter, i had flowers showing in the first week. they also stretch like a son of a bitch in the first 2 weeks of flowering.
my first 2 pineapple express are coming down tomorrow. they are at a friends place and from what i hear over the past 4 days the buds have gained enough weight that they blanches can no longer support them. i cant wait pics will be coming soon!
