 Having trouble with hash oil

I feel like I'm wasting this awesome goo, it keeps ending up on my fingers and surfaces..... how the fuck do I smoke this wonderful slime properly?
Also can i eat this stuff? it says butane free but that's about it.

I've always wanted to do this myself.
Hot knife hits is a great way tho, or adding to the top of a bowl of weed is good.
Vaping works extremely well as well.

I usually just smoke it on bowls of dank, and have tried it on tobacco with varying degrees of success. I'm not retarded I just want some easier ways to do straight rips of hash oil.

Drill a hole in side of a beer bottle and drop the hash oil on a cig, then put it in the hole and let it fill up, take the cig out and clear it

I'm assuming you're getting it in the little screw top canisters from the dispensary?
1.)Take your self a paper clip and bend it out of its shape so you have a nice straight piece of metal
2.)Dip the end you just bent into the oil and scoop up how much you want
3.)Pack a bowl (better to have done this before)
4.)Hold the paper clip with the oil over the top of the bowl
5.)Heat the paper clip an inch or so above the drop of oil
6.)The oil will now liquefy and drop into the bowl.
That is the easiest way to deal with oil, your next bet is to stick the canister in the freezer or fridge. It will make the oil less viscous and easier to handle, but as soon as it warms up you're back in the same spot. With the paperclip method you never touch any of the oil with your hands, so no mess, no waste, no cleanup.
Personally when I'm smoking oil I just put enough bud in the bowl to cover up the hole and hold the oil. Sometimes I use just plain ash if all I want is the high from the oil. But I honestly think smoking it in a bowl is the easiest way to smoke it (although hot knives are badass too).

Do you smoke cigarettes? Usually I'll smoke a 1/4 of a cig and let the ash "grandma" til I have a nice chunk of it then drop it in the bowl and tamp it down a bit. When smoking on an ash bed toke LIGHTLY, if you pull too hard you'll get a nice mouthful of ash and liquid oil which is not fun at all.
I like to hold the lighter above the oil and use the heat to cause it to bubble and vaporize and cherry up on it's own. Just pull hard enough to get the flame to dip down near the oil and wait for it to bubble and spread up and out, then by the time it solidifies it usually gets hot enough to form a nice cherry so you can put the lighter down and just hit the bowl. I prefer this method because you get all the flavor of the ash and the bud doesn't dirty up the soaring high you get from the oil.

I've tried all the methods and they all worked.... the best being on bud, second best is on ash, third is on foil under a glass.

i have found that a set of razor blades for scrapping it off the plate and a pin/needle to take the goo off the blades. Use a lighter to warm the pin and the goo slides/melts off into whatever your smoking it out of.

lol, that's exactly how I do it too  My pyrex collection dish has a plastic lid for it as well, so I can just leave the razorblade and paperclip in there. Easiest way for me to store and use that I've found (even though the dish is kinda big ).
