 Gonna Make Some Honey Bud + Laced Joints

I'm gonna get a make a batch of honey oil with my Honey Bee Extractor and I was going to try to make some honey bud and laced joints while I'm at it. I've never never done this before and instructions on the internet are vague at best.
I just throw in the buds and joints before I spray the butane through then just let it evap for a few weeks? Any advice/tips would be appreciated.

Just make the hash oil, then use a paper clip to drop it onto a rolling paper, then add the weed, lick and stick. Its a lot easier that way then trying to encase a joint in oil like han solo in carbonite.

I hear people talking a lot about lacing their joints with oil after or during the rolling. I don't understand how that's possible because the oil is thicker than shit.
I did pretty much exactly what I said above and everything looks good so far. I'll re-post here with how they smoke in a few days to weeks once all the butane has evaporated.

butane won't take a few days or weeks to evaporate. It boils at room temp.

Yeah I'd just rather be safe than sorry. I actually smoked one of the joints today and it was fuckin' bubonic. Better than a kief joint or a chunk of hash in a bong bowl. Definitely something I'll be doing more of in the future once this batch runs out. I haven't tried the bud yet, but I have high hopes. The honey bud didn't come out quite as dark as what you would buy in a dispensary though, I don't know why.

I usually just put a layer of the honey oil on the paper right where you would normally lick. that way it sticks your paper shut and you get a nice even line all the way down the joint. Of course, this requires a little assistance from a friend since you need both hands to hold the joint tight while they apply the oil

I never understood that, I could have 6 friends helping me and that hash oil is so fuckin' sticky I would still tear the paper, let alone roll one lol.

I'm sure I could figure it out eventually, but it doesn't get much easier than tossing a bunch of joints and buds in the Pyrex dish you're about to make the oil in.  Plus then they're soaked completely through.

Take a piece of metal and scoop a glob of hash oil on the end of it, then take a lighter to the metal near but not on the oil, and the oil should just drip off the metal as the heat is conducted.

Sounds like a good way to manage oil on its own in general, Dank. But when it comes to joints I'll stick with absolutely soaking them like I did. (He says baked out of his mind on one of the aforementioned joints.)

Yah, i never had much luck using oil in joints. Would always come out too globby and the paper never burned right (boat all the way). Now blunts on the other hand are peeeerfect for an oil lace. We'd take the blunt, coat the middle with a nice layer of oil and spread it around, then the bud sticks the oil (which makes the blunt a tiny bit easier to roll), and since the paper is much thicker then joints it burns more evenly and doesn't tear during the oil application.
Been a while since I've done that, fucking tasty though.
