 Making Honey Oil

So i got a bunch of cut up leaf/premature buds in a bag, and im gonna pack a 1liter bottle FULL with it, and make a hole in the bottom which is perfect(airtight) size for a butane tip, and poke 3 holes in the lid screwed on so i can spray about 6 whole butane cans into the bottom of the bottle, through all the trim/prem.bud, and out the lid into a collection bowl  ...I will post results later tonight and pics when i get to a computer!

Im using a piece of a paper towel in the lid as a filter  ...My friend is driving to wal-mart getting butane and he should be back any minute now...I will do it in about an hour and post back. I will also post pics when i get to a computer. P.S. - They just got here

You'd be much better off using coffee filters, cheese cloth,dress sock, pantyhose, anything but a paper towel.

I did it, came out with a good amount ...After most of the butane evaporated outside, i brought the collection bowl inside and floated it in some hot water until ALL of the bubbles that pop out are ALL done popping...But...about halfway through it evapping inside, my STUPID CAT jumped literally  DIRECTLY all 4 feet inside of the honey oil collection bowl, immediately soaking all the inside with the hot water! ....I just poured it out immediately floated it again unil all the not only butane but water evap too  ...It went all good though ....the last bubbles are popping now and i will scrape up when no more butane air bubbles pop up....

Yea the paper towels were starting to frustrate me. I had to use two small square pieces of it that fit the bottle lid good. Get expensive butane and make sure its pure butane.... ill post pics tomorrow of the results

Sorry, i couldn't get to a computer to post the pics but here they are
  
Only thing is...As i was smoking this oil on a bowl, i noticed it had a nasty harsh taste to it...I looked it up on google, and it turns out that i used butane with NASTY additives that leave the oil smelling like  ...I used ronsonol, and i guess that brand is the WORST for butane honey oil  ....
at myself for buying ronsonol, but its all i can find in my town ...I heard Colibri and King butane are good, but all i can find locally is ronsonol...Which kind would be best to order off the web?

If you used a plastic bottle to make it, then the butane probably dissolved some of the plastic into your oil as well. I cant believe no one chimed in to help you out before you made this. Next time you'll know
