Keep them in the fridge for sure!
My understanding is that the rule of thumb is, aim to use them in under 6 months. Once you hit the 6 month period, thats when you may wind up with some dead syringes. However, people have reported successful inoculation, I think up to a year after the syringe was made.

Syringes will be fine. Ive never stored them in a fridge, and dont think i ever will.. Ive had an order sit in my closet unopened for over a year and they worked fine. A little slow colonizing but they worked. Id say just throw them in drawer or somewhere theyll be safe chilling.

The white was probably spores germinating. You had MYC in there more than likely. 75% of the syringes ive ever gotten have white stuff in them. Its just like an L.C. I consider that lucky...

Never thought I'd here this here, but I'll help you out....
Under optimum conditions (75F constant temperatures, low rH, no sunlight, normal pressure), it should last for many years.
But, if you keep it in extreme temps, high sunlight, near radiant heat, or in *very* moist conditions, you will kill the spores.
If storing for winter, store in your fridge. Keep away from extreme colds and heat.
Then you will be good to go!

All good dude!
yeah, 100F is pretty high, but P. cubenis is a tropical species, so it *may* be able to handle those temps, but don't quote me on that.
Keep those nice and chilled in the Fridge and you will be A-OK!

So...if its up to 95F, but i keep it aired out really well, i could probly grow cubes in those temps? I thought it had to be 70-80F to fruit mushrooms

Well, 70-80F is the optimum range for fruiting AND colonization....as for fruiting in 90F+, not sure....might have to ask an expert. I'm thinking it might be too hot.
I know that if you are doing PF-Tek with jars, it will be too hot and you might get infections. Its too hot because the mycelium produce their own heat while they grow, and combine that with the 90F ambient, and you got fried mycelium and possiblily higher rates of infections...
If you can, try to colonize between 72F to 77F. 90F is just too hot.
Well, good luck! Tell us what happens!

To give the cannabis thread some breathing room, here's a place to discuss magic mushrooms. Microdose, heroic dose, sporadic use - many ways to use this special fungus. Special because there's always a lot to learn from the experience, for me it's always much more than just a few hours of fun - it can often be introspectively difficult as it holds up a mirror of unrelentingly clear resolution to your being & in that moment you can either run away in madness or take a breath and do the work the capped wizard has revealed needs doing.
Afaik they're still illegal to grow, fresh/dried also illegal. Not sure if/when that will ever change, but they're easy enough to acquire (usually dried) and not too difficult to grow from spores in small amounts.
There's also quite a bit of info using them for lasting relief from cluster headaches, and a few places (MAPS, Johns Hopkins, etc.) looking at studies using shrooms for depression, PTSD.
