Just crumbled some Blue Lotus extract on top of a bowl and torched it up.
I've never done this before, but I'm interested in something new...I'll let you know how it goes

So??? how was it?
I would like to grow some flowers this summer myself, I hear the poppy is making a national comback with the old timers...it is such a beautiful flowering plant, my 2nd favorite.

The effects are pretty mild...pleasant like a very low dose of opiates, but I don't know what it would be like on its own without the weed.
I really have to lay back and chill out to "feel it" at all.

well, i enjoy a nice cup of tea, and its not so "pressing", but is still pleasant. I get the idea, and would like to toss some flower up in the mix from time to time. I love coca tea, and customs doesnt care anymore.

I want to try Kratom still...and maybe I'll get some whole Lotus to steep for tea.

ive smoked a pink lotus once, i picked it out of a local pond..., the effects were minimal yet odd ... it also tasted nice....
if you try a tea and its good, maybe ill go back and harvest some more of them when they bloom this summer

Quick update:
Slept like a post-coital angel last night. Best sleep in a long time, and that's saying something, because I always sleep very well.
I definitely attribute it to the Lotus.
Its supposed to be an aphrodisiac as well, but I didn't experience these effects, just the relaxation. It was nice to feel all of the tension just flow out from my shoulders though.

would you say that you woke up more refreshed?
i would like to find something that helps me sleep well but also wake up with energy and excitement.
I have had success with melatonin but i also end up sleeping 10 to 12+ hours and that's just not going to work for me.
anybody have any suggestions that will eliminate the morning yawns and the fall back asleep syndrome.
granted both of these could be attributed to cigs, unhealthy food, weed, alcohol, and unhealthy air quality.
