MY GROW. UPDATE 13th april, Sativa harvest photos.
    #372952 - 02/24/10 08:44 PM (14 years, 9 months ago)

Have had a few people asking me for some photo updates on ma ladies here are some pics of my sativas, couldn't be bothered taking any of the indicas but they are also doing very well.

My sativa is in flowering now and is looking good, these are what the heads of each branch look like (about 80 branches at last count)

These are 2 pics of what each branch looks like atm

This is a picture of a branch off my topped sativa that has been tied down.

My Sativa that has been topped 4 times and tied down

Big mama.

My topped-tied sativa

2 main colas of my topped sativa and a branch

Sativas.

Example of what each branch is looking like at the moment

Main cola

3 pics of big sativa ( as it doesnt fit into 1 very well

My big tree

AN outdoor indica (couldnt be bothered taking pictures of the other 5, they are all going well though)

UPDATE

OKAY heres the story, i was away from my plants for the last week and had someone close to me water them for me everyday but she didn't get fed for the whole week so she didn't get the nutes she needs, i know i know some of you might say stupid on my behalf but i thought if the person watering noticed anything they would call me to go feed her, but no they are retards, anyway, I come back and my big sativa is severly deficient of something i cant figure out what though, please tell me its not to late to save my baby.

UPDATE + Sativa tree harvest

Hey all, well i'm sure some of you remember my sativa had some problems in late flowering so i decided to harvest it instead of risking losing the buds on there, and i must say im very satisfied with my choice, the bud has an intensely fruity smell sort of like lemon with herbs, it absolutelty does your head in, it smokes extremly smooth and gives a soaring head high that i haven't experienced from any other bud i've smoked.

I have also included some macro shots of some of my indicas buds and my topped sativa.

Enjoy

UPDATE

Just thought i'd upload a few photos for you guys to check out, i harvested 2 of my indicas yesterday and they are hanging at the moment.

Notice the black indica in the 3 tied down, looks dank :jah:

Hey Inbred,
That's some great looking sativa you got going.
Tripping out on the Bonsai pot in the 5th pic.
Was that intentional? or do still plan to transplant?

Nice work.

Thanks man :jah:

It actually wasn't intentional but it has worked out in my favour :bongload: i originally started the 2 sativas from seed off season and only 2 females took, one is that big tall one and the other in the bonsai pot. He was a little bit retarded as a seedling so i decided to play round with him topping and training etc. so i put him in that bonsai pot coz i thought it looked sweet and now its turned into a monster with 4 main growth shoots that i tied down

Older fan leaves are meant to yellow and fall off during flowering correct? Slot of the ones off the main stem and the oldest ones along the branchs are yellowing off and falling off now my big lady is flowering.

Yep, that's a normal part of the cycle.  That starts at the bottom and as flowering progresses the leaves on the main stalk yellow, brown and fall off.

Will get on it , probably won't be till early next week tho due to camera etc. The branches are really starting to dense up some of them look like they are going to need tying up eventually as they are too heavy

I can tell that tree is getting heavier branches.  They look thicker.  :vaped:  God damn you are going to have pounds of herb when this is done.

haha thanks man im hoping with those 2 sativas and my 6 indicas for over 2 pounds, yeah im slightly concerned about the braches weight im considering tying them up to avoid them sagging anymore when the buds get denser. though i have no clue how to go about doing this, is it worth doing? is the branchs getting weighed down by the buds a problem ? if anyone has any experience with this problem i would greatly appreciate pointers on how to go about fixing it

i wouldn't fuck with them until they look like they are drooping beyond what i thought was acceptable.  shouldn't be a huge concern for you.  Tying them up is easy peasy anyway.

Wow dude, if you like sativa smoke than you are one lucky mother f-er...

That thing is going to have massive massive buds in about...3 more months...

Looks great though man you are going to get quite a nice hunk of headstash from this.  Do you have any idea on the potency of these strains?

I have no idea of what strain it is although i do know that the plant I got these seeds from won nimbon mardigrass best homegrown bud in australia so i think it's safe to assume that it's good quality genetics :jah:

Wow those things are really filling out now, looks like you might be harvesting before me, it's been a god damn long season this year. But the weather was perfect for outdoors and the plants are showing it  :vaped:

yea you're gonna have to tie them up, don't want that tree breaking. All those big bottom branches seem are starting to sag. Hell I'd even put up some support for the main stalk. I'd probably tie each branch individually up on the tree. Just do it the same way you tied them down with line and cloth but just tie it off at the top of the greenhouse.
It's the goddamn irony, spend all season trying to keep it tied down, then when it starts budding you've gotta keep it tied up... still worth it :crazy2:
