It MIGHT be because they are WAV files? I originally saved them in mp3 format but for some reason it sounded shitty, so I changed em to WAV.

Hey Cthulthu, try converting them to Mp3 at 32 0Kb/sec., It almost sounds like .wav....And yes, those files are in Wav (its default for FL Studio), and the rate of Wave is 1.4 Mb per second, so files get really huge, really fast (but damn they sound Sooooo Goooood...)
I have that track I uploaded at 320Kb, and its sounds almost like the original ".wav" version....but if the song is 6 minutes or more, you'll have to use between 192Kb-220kb. I wouldn't go lower than 192Kb/sec: that'll cause some sound quality problems.
>>> If you need a audio file converter, try downloading this free program called Switch Sound File Converter
Its the best audio converter I've found on the internet, and its perfect for things like uploading songs to Growery. Actually, that's the only thing I use it for because I like to keep all my songs in Wav....there's just no substitute (unless you have a full-on studio with 48,000Khz vinyl-quality capabilities).
Hope that helps. If you need help running the program interface....I'm here to help.

Yo Doc,
Your work sounds pretty epic, but where's the beat!? You gotta drop that beat, bring it back and forth. If you bring a dance beat or hiphop beat to that melody you could have ONE SWEET PIECE. You gotta have that beat, I'm kinda losing you in those ambient electro-sounds.

I drum so I kinda hear beats all the time n when I do this I like to mess with the synths n effects to fulfill my needs of other sounds beside drums,,, but ya ill make some beats after I finish this and get used to the software, I just wanna keep this one experimental, original, and most importantly, TRIPPY.

That's right, you do play drums. Well, try puttin a basic drum track down (like a verse, chorus, verse, chorus type thing)and then you could add fills and changes once you become more experienced with it. and then add all of the synth sounds you're playing with now, after you've got the basic beat down. I would think that would be the easiest way to go about it. Everyone has different methods though
build that shit man, with those synth sounds, you can really make the listener visualize a journey in their heads almost. up, down, all around...dude i'm inspired. where's my les paul?

I think dark and depressing better describes Dr.'s ambient tracks than "creepy". Believe me, I've heard creepy (dark psy-trance) and Dr's stuff gets close, but no where near "real" creepy.
But I prefer more upbeat ambient, that's positive and puts me in a good mood. And even when its ambient, I have to have *some* kind of percussion track, even if minimal and "downplayed". Without it, it just sounds "empty". So Sorry Dr., I just can't get into your homemade-stuff.
But it doesn't matter what I think: the important thing is that you're enjoying your new hobby and that you enjoy what you've made. None of our comments should tell you otherwise.

Yeah I like ambient music like "Tangerine Dream", even dark ambient like Lustmord it doesnt make me feel depressed though , But everything I make wont sound the same so keep checkin in and giving me opinions, I finally sort of learned how to use automation and mixing, so lets see what comes of that, but like I said after a few more tracks, ill drop a kickin beat with some wobble bass. I appreciated it maaan

opinions on the last one would be nice... it sounds different than the others, it has percussion now and its like dubsteppy. what could I do to make it better in your opinions?

Not too bad: I Liked It! But it could be better.....
Some Suggestions:
I think you should put some "reverb", "chorus", or even some random "echo" effects on the percussion, especially the Hi-Hats. The hi-hats seem a little to dominate over the main dub-bass melody, so toning down the treble on those hats would make it sound nicer. If you need help with making dub effects, I got ya covered.
Also, a nice, long mid-to-high pitch dubbed-out ambient melody pattern would go nice ov er the dub-step melody. Not necessary, but I think it would add some depth and character to the track.
Overall, I like it much better than your last tracks. But, could you make it longer, even by just 1 more minute. I want to hear the track E V O L V E......
