 New batch of DMT

Here are some pictures from the first pull of a new batch of dmt from root bark. Only got 2.5 grams.
I just smoked 50 mg like an hour ago which is the normal amount that I take for a pretty strong break through with spectacular visuals.. not this time. This was way beyond that, I cant remember exactly what happened but it shook me up a bit. I was more efficient this time on the extraction and i guess I made it too strong? Felt like two or three times as intense as 50 mg of the last batch. How much do you guys usually smoke? I guess according to errowid Ive been taking strong doses anyways. Also below is a picture of my new piece, just broke it in.

EDIT: Just realized that the last batch had a lot more yellow to it than this one. Probably explains what just happened to me.

how much raw material did you use to get the 2.5g ?

this batch is of 24 oz of raw powder root bark with a typical straight to base extraction. When I do it I shake the fuck out of the bottles with solvent in them. Takes for ever (a month or so) for the layers to separate but its worth it. I figure there should be at least another 2.5 grams or more swimming around in those jugs. I'll let you guys know as I go. Ive recrystallized some of the last batch and didnt like the quality and consistency of product afterwards so I didnt do it this time. I'm currently trying to decide if doing a sodium bicarbonate water wash on the solvent layer after separating before freezing would be a good idea or not. Any suggestions?

It has to be one of the simplest extractions. The worst part it separating the naptha off and there is all these teks for all these different ways to pull the layer off. The way my jugs are shaped I can pour the entire layer off without getting any crud with it. its really sweet.
Also just so everyone learns from my mistakes. One big jar of solvent in the freezer can take a couple weeks to get a decent amount of crystals on the bottom where when I used 2 smaller jars it only took 12 hours.

usually it takes 50 mg of the yellow stuff. I have only taken 50 mg so far of this stuff and cant exactly recall what happened, I had tons of visuals but cant understand or remember exactly what happened. I got the root powder from the best supplier of all.. ebay lol.

I once helped a friend make DMT using the same jug tek. Compared to what we did you're lightyears ahead with that shit.
His jugs were 1 gal. plastic water jugs.
I refused to smoke the product.

I dont blame ya. I got the glass jugs from a local brewery supply store, I think they might be like 1.5 or 2 gallons. They were like 5 bucks each and well worth it. Pouring the top layer off is so easy that I dont even bother pulling out the pyrex 1000 ml seperatory funnel that I bought from a local labratory supply company. Its just too messy and hard to use. Mostly cause I dont have a stand for it though lol.
All I did was fallow the straight to base extraction exactly as directed but I shake the fuck out of my bottles and let them sit for a month. Other than that I just multiply the ingredients for larger amount of starting materials. If something is worth doing it is worth doing right.
After I do a couple more pulls I'm going to attempt my first jungle spice extraction from the left over material. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Yeah man the more solvent the longer it'll take to precipitate. I usually evaporate the solvent down to only a few milliliters and the crystals drop out pretty quickly. If you feel like it next time try evaping the contents of one of your little jars down to about half or even a third of what you've got in there and it should take even less time to fully precipitate.
