but i'm kinda concerned how it would play out if it does go down. would the tobacco companies try and take over the market? or could a collective of growers with a superior knowledge of pot and an ethos of growing superior, organic pot possibly form a collective that would capture anlarge portion of the market.
Basically, will we be seeing Jack Herer, Inc, or marijuaboro?

My wife and I have an understanding about this. If any state fully decriminalizes I am taking myself and one of my buddies and we are setting up as big a grow as we can legally. Split 50/50 and sell through his dads biker friends
After first harvest I will move the wife out into our new house and I will live happily ever after with my straw hat and pitch fork in hand.

when it becomes legit people will be coming out of the woodwork to get in on the marijuana business. I went to a discussion panel a couple months ago called Marijuana after prohibition. The speakers were pretty convinced that there would be two big industries getting involved, big pharma and tobacco. Either way I think that's just terrible. Lots of fights still remain to even get to that point, but i would never buy a joint from a tobacco or pharmaceutical company.

If I was able to find a good enough job to afford living there, I'd definitely move just to be able to grow a few plants in peace for once.

I would imagine it would be like the tobacco industry now. While there are big industries supplying tobacco there are also plenty of smaller companies selling all natural tobacco. The same goes with alcohol. I think you're always going to have premium, all organic weed available. Laws of supply and demand. We don't want shitty weed, well at least the majority don't.
