-------------------- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.
The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

I don't work, other than work study at the college.
Feels good not to have to work.

Someday you will be so bored that you wish you were working.
Oh yeah, and the OP was great, although that's basically how I think.
I have what I want, for the most part. As long as I have my bud plants, life is good for me. I have NEVER aspired to be rich, because all of my friends who had wealthy families and million dollar houses ALL had the most unhappy and troubled lives. With money comes problems.
My dream is to live in a very rural/remote location and basically create all of my own food except for meats. Not so remote that I can't drive to a store in over an hour, but that's about how far out of town I would like to live. Have my own massive veggie garden and some fruit trees, I would just grow food and herb, make love to my wife and just chill.
I am very content with nothing as I grew up in a poor family that has fought to survive and as of just recently (the last ~5 years) we finally don't have to worry on a daily basis about if we'll make it but we definitely don't have any extra money, but we are HAPPY and that's all that matters IMO.
Humans weren't created to work for someone else for 8+ hours per day just to stay alive. The only work we should HAVE to do, is work for OURSELVES.

Inverted that's my dream too man... Find some acreage in the boonies, build a house, keep bees and rabbits, grow veggies, trade with the neighbors etc.

BOOOOOOO vegetarians FTW
I would like to someday have a home base. A cabin that I build myself... in a mountain valley right beside a river or creek with soaring snow topped mountains surrounding me on all sides. I think my ideal place would be in the Teton mountain range in Wyoming, just absolutely breathtaking.

I grew up poor so I have never had a desire to have more than I need.
When you grow up with none of the luxuries we take for granted.... things like indoor pluming, personal phone lines and electricity you realize early on, what is truly important in life
Having a big bank account and lots of responsibilities is not my idea of a good life
A roof over my head, clothes on my back and food in my gut are my primary concerns
Everything else is just gravy
