go to a 'good' doctor and tell him what you just told us,, but lay off the 'im trying to get a card' talk. i dont know where to point you to to find a doc. shit im sure you could just look it up in the yellow pages. some of the docs out there promote their friendliness to cannabis. i doubt it'd be difficult to find. oh then you probably do some paperwork and wait for a period then get your card and go to the clubs. that's my guess anyway. educated guess at best.

seems easy enough, I really am just trying to get stoned to be honest.
This would be my first time living anywhere with medical marijuana. I know you need California ID and a doctors referral at the least. I've planned to set aside $300 to accomplish getting medical MJ. I found a few links that make referrals

some friends of mine went out for the National Championship and got a card while they were out there. The owner or some headshop pointed them down the street to the doc.

How long were they in town for? no CA license? just some dude offf the street got a card?

I just looked at weedmaps.com for the area I'll be staying and it seems very tolerant to medical marijuana. I seems great, I can't wait to smoke marijuana legally without the threat of police.

Can you explain what it was like signing up and receiving a card...and what the doctors experience was like.
I'd gladly pay $200 for a card or referral.

there's nothing to it really. just make an appointment with the nearest doc, and go in and get evaluated. i don't remember much on the procedures that were performed but it's pretty simple.
i got cleared for anxiety and back/muscle pain

nah man, just get a state id and you're good.
as soon as i heard all you needed was an id i went straight to the dmv and got one after waiting for the card in the mail, i got some dannnnnk

No address yet I have to get there first and rent a house or apartment.
State ID sounds good, I hate retaking the written test at the DMV, I don't remember any traffic laws.
California has the right idea about weed.
I do have my dads former address I could use,I think?

The new title says it all. go to Cali, establish an address, go to dmv and buy Cali ID, wait for it in the mail about 2 weeks, go to one of a million pot docs in Cali, Go to Dispensary with ID and rec and cash for medicine.
Just be honest with the doctor and you'll be toking in no time.

yeah, what was your first trip to the dispensary? I would be going from dispensary to dispensary all day on the weekends. If for no other reason than to see what they have.

I've gone to 2 and a hemp convention in the first week and now I'm broke. I will be back when I get some money. It's the best weed experience ever going to a club for the first time, the only down side is you can't smoke inside and the counter people are super baked and doushy. I've tried about 10 strains and 4 types of hash, and the strongest hash chocolate that knocked me out quick. I went into downtown la where there were dozens of clubs in a short distance but only tried one because of $$$.
expensive but fun.

Free joint and gram of keif at one place and better free joint at the next place. Coolest most professional shit ever with the locking cage doors and whatnot. The coolest part is you can smell and examine everything. I want to go back but don't need any more right now, but all I can think about is going back just for more edibles and to smell around.
I wish they were like a tokers lounge so I could chill and smoke joints and vaporize, I heard there is a few places but you have to search.
