I just got my new digital scale in the mail today, and I wanted to share it with all you guys...
Its nothing that special, but its my first 0.01gram scale (I own a 0.1 gram back home in Hawaii) and so far, I'm pleased in how its worked thus far.
Here's the details
Brand: AWS (American Weight Scales)
Model: AWS-55
Max: 55 grams
Resolution: 0.01 grams
Features: Digital and pocket-Portable. Blue Backlit display. Stainless-steel platform. Compartment specifically for back-up batteries.
 -> All the weed I have left. Gotta make it stretch...  ->Uses 2 AAAs. Cool feature: It has a compartment for 1 pair spare of batteries (the back-up). Its where the red AAA's are.
I tested its accuracy with a "nickel test", since nickels weigh 5 grams each (I didn't buy a calibration weight because I'm a cheap-ass).
Here's the results:
 -> 3 nickels. The years: 2007, 2006, and 1967.
 -> Just the new ones: 2007 and 2006 models.
So, what kind of scale do you use? How far supriour is yours compared my cheap one? Got any slide/balance type scales, 'cause I wanna see those too!

I searched for something similar and found nothing, so I thought "Hey, if these guys are growing the goodz, they likely have scales to weigh out the final product...I wonder what kinds of scales the Growery has going..."
Oh yeah, feel free to post your home-growns on the scale: It would be interesting to see the density differences between different home-growns, or if you just wanna show-off what you grew, that's totally cool with me!

 jesus christ man that's way more than a LITTLE overpriced. I paid $30 for my first scale and I thought that was just a little overpriced. It was basically the same as your new one only with a silver casing and I replaced it with a black one which is almost identical to yours.
You can find pretty much every kind of scale online on like chinese import sites or ebay for anywhere from $2-20 bucks for a .01 and $30 max for a .001mg
the old one. I think my friend got it taken up by the cops or something.

My weed scale measures by half ounces up to 50lbs as the smallest increment

yeah I bought one while on vacation one time just for an estimate on this sack I scored from a dude outside a headshop and never used it again. I've had a couple people whip one out on me while buying a sack from them and I give 'em hell for it. Horribly inaccurate and just screams that you're a fucking noob.

if you hang them from a nail or something, they're fairly accurate if they're not all bent up n shit. but i would rather have digis for sure. or triple beams even if you got weight.

i have never had a problem with my hanging postal scale. It's a nice simple mechanism that works well imo.

Nice scale...wait a minute...what's that sticker at the bottom of scale say?
Did you steal this scale from the "Biology" lab of your School? I hope it was you who put that sticker on and not a employee of a education facility.
Then again, I've stolen some razor blades and some small glass vials in High School...So I guess I'm the hypocritic.
But a scale, that's got to be expensive. Looks accurate though with that lovely shroom on there.

Stock image but that is the exact scale I have. Funny story about it, went to a festival and was hoping to grab a cheapie from a vendor. No vendor brought one, on the last night walking to a show a girl walked by and said "shrooms...e.......scales..." Needless to say I stopped her and bought it, 10$ Never heard people selling scales on the lot like drugs before lol
