I remember waiting over an hour for a page to load with pictures and all. It actually was only half done, so I gave up in frustration.

I remember printing out grainy black-and-white images of samurai pizza cats.

i remember connecting to an online source using telephone cups and a corded telephone, then i remember getting a 2400 baud modem and was blown away by how fast it was. I could now download games for my mac and it only took two days!
