Signing for my seeds?

I've bought seeds a few times now but I've never had to sign for my seeds before. Today I pick up the mail and there's a note in there from the post office that says I have to go down there and sign for my Registered mail from England. I got them from Attitude. This is a quote from their site under the Delivery Options linkQuote:
The Attitude seedbank are second to none when it comes to discreet delivering "We deliver"
The Attitude have a number of Rapid Discreet Delivery Options and have a custom delivery system at the "check out" to suit your individual need. We are so confident in our delivery methods that we personally challenge you to find a better delivery option anywhere else. We only use the most efficient premium and rapid, discreet methods of delivery, otherwise what is the point in spending your hard earned cash on your favourite souvenirs and they dont get delivered ?
You choose excactly how you want your items shipped, We even have online tracking to see where your parcel is, And the best part is there is No signature required upon delivery.
There are 3 simple steps:
Step1: Choose your desintaion: UK or International
Step 2: Choose if you would like them in original breeders packs or removed from packaging "You can even add a DVD case at this step.
Step 3: Then decide if you would like to add the "guaranteed shipping option" with many great extra's like T-shirts, Mugs, Wallets, and More. All these option are guaranteed to be reshipped in the unlikely event of your parcel not reaching you the first time. "See Terms & Conditions"
We are even open to any other popular shipping suggestions
"THE ATTITUDE DELIVERS"
What will my parcel look like? Just like any standard priority service parcel in the postal system, The only text that will be displayed on the parcel is your name and delivery address
So now I'm a little concerned.

"No signature required upon delivery. "
Id contact the company and see if you can just ignore or refuse that letter (instead of signing) and have them send a new one to a different place

My concern with ignoring the letter is that it would be suspicious as would refusing it. Though of the two I would prefer to refuse it.

very odd, I would be wary. I didn't have to sign for my package from the attitude. It came in a small bubble mailer and fit into my mailbox.
Refusing mail is no big deal, you can simply say I don't know who this is from. People scam mail all the time by sending packages to unoccupied homes or neighbors and just wait until it gets delivered.

Yeah something sounds odd with that, I would just refuse it and contact the company. Coda do you know how Seed Botique ships their seeds?

It's an envelope.
After doing some web searching it sounds like the package was confiscated by customs. Generally the letter just informs you of this and gives you information about how fight the confiscation or what not. I'm thinking I should at least pick up the package to be more informed from the start. There are some pitfalls if it was taken. My address can get blacklisted. My house can be watched. DEA might snoop around.
I did a bit of searching on my state law regarding marijuana, mariguana seeds, and marijuana cultivation. I checked quite a few sites and they all seem to agree. Of course they could be all quoting each other. What they say is cultivating anything less than 100g is a misdemeanor carying only a $100 fine and no criminal record. I would lose my drivers license for 6 months to 5 years. Where they get you is on the paraphernalia charges. Those are steep and the difinition on paraphernalia is wide. Anything for growing injecting smoking etc. the list goes on even a the bag for your bag of weed is considered paraphernalia. Really scary. That comes with a $750 and 6-18 months in jail.

If it was customs that intercepted your package, then I wouldnt worry about it too much. I dont think they would have you sign for it still. They would just send you a letter telling you what they confiscated.

I dont believe customs makes you sign for a searched package. At least they never made me do it and also a few of my friends never had to sign for anything. Just comes with some lovely green tape on it and a bunch of stamps on it and shit and a letter inside that didnt start out in it.

I don't recall saying anything bad about mandala (did a search to verify). I absolutely loved their speed queen. Gave me four 15 foot plants last season. I told triptonic that same thing as you did about how great all of mandalas beans are.
by the way sorry I didnt finish my grow log on all those beans I had going last summer. Some stuff came up around the time everything was 13 feet tall and I wasnt able to update the log.

I signed for the letter. Nothing weird. No green tape no letters inside. Just my order. On that note I'm going to go smoke some weed and chill out.

Just wanted to add my experience. I had the exact same thing. I made about 3 small orders all with in a week or each other to take advantage of the free seed promo. Got the first one, but the other two weren't delivered. I got 2 notes saying I had to go down to sign for the packages. Went down to USPS and lady told me she was sorry that someone had signed for 1 of the packages earlier that day and the other one was opened and had a little piece of green tape on it. She told me she was really sorry and wanted to reimburse me for the value of the contents. Sounded kinda sketchy so I told her not to worry about it. It was kind of a strange thing cause she made a comment about how I seemed like such a nice person. Anyways that was the last time I ordered. I did get the shirt in the one package. Think I drew too much heat with the multiple purchases so close to each other. Did get several other ones previously with stealth shipping. Never tried again since though. 7 out of 9 with The Attitude. Didn't even try to get the guarantee replacements. Just wanted to share this in case anyone else gets those delivery notices.

Well, since this old thread was bumped, just thought I'd say that my package from attitude for their anniversary giveaway also was not delivered and left with a note that said I had to pick it up. We called the post office and they told us that they could have the mail lady re-deliver the package at the end of her route (we slept through the delivery), but we told them it was not worth putting her through the trouble. So the next day we went to the post office and signed for the package and got it no problem. It hadn't been tampered with or anything. I don't know why we had to sign for it, but there were no problems in doing so.
