Anyone had any experience being a bartender or even better a barback
there is a job opportunity for me and I was wondering what the job is like.

and it's not cheap
so i am hoping i will
but this isn't a bartender job its the bartender assistant job so I am thinking its going to be much less tips.

the bartender will be responsible for tipping you out. unless there is a manager working as well. there may be a set formula, or they may pay you what they think you deserve for the night. will you be getting a set shift pay as well or making hourly? most likely they will pay you a set shift pay.
so be cool and make sure they like you. the customers will be tipping them, and they will tip you. work hard and you can probably usurp the shittiest bartender over time as well

pretty much. you just keep glasses and cups clean, bus the plates n shit that are underneath the bar from people eating at the bar. keep beer and liquor stocked. and even help make drinks if he's REALLY busy. but i was only 16 or so when i did it, so i couldn't make drinks.

bartending can make you a lot of money. a lot of bullshit too though. gotta be good with people especially when you got 084084032830581-48 things goin on. the bartender i used to work with would make 600-700 bucks on a friday night. if the place is busy and you're a good bartender, people will make it a point to come to that place though. those were the days man, coked outta my mind workin at a restaurant, killin it on the grill. i actually used to have fun at work.

haha, cooked out on what? I would imagine some sort of speed or meth would be a good drug for that type of job. I wouldn't be able to handle all that fast passed action stoned, so i could never do that job. lets us know how it turns out ben, good luck buddy.
