1/4/10 "Mendocino Purple" in Aeroponics

This is my 3rd grow with this set up, but it's been nearly 2years since my last grow. It's not like riding a bike!
1000k lights 10gal reservoir Advanced Nutrients
12 Mendocino Purple's
This is day one, just plugged them in my system.
AN 2 part grow PH down HydroGuard SensiCal
Very light feeding, I will up it as soon as I feel the babies are taking to their new home.
The reservoir gets dumped every week with a new batch. I will run just water for a few hours to help remove build ups.
I am going to rock them for 24hr, as previous attempts were very favorable to that. I think it will run for a two weeks, or just a little under that.
Once they get to about 12-16 inches I will flip them to bloom and the real fun begins.

Love the name, one of my favorite Floyd albums. As everyone else already said, nice setup! You have any details on that aeroponics unit? I'm trying to find something like that to maximize my space for my next grow. Good luck with the grow.

I bought mine, while I love it part of me thinks I could do better. But the nice thing is there is no dialing it in, plug and grow!
Mine is a Hydrofarm 24 set up in a 4x8 growhut.
I am rolling with only 12, depending on the strain and such, 24 can be problems. This set up seems to be great for short quick grows.
If this strain can be tried and kept small, single cola, then yeah 24 might rock!

The one modification I did to was to raise the try's high enough for a dehumidifier. I had major issues with moister when the lights were turned off, and even during the day there often would be moister between the leafs, if they were touching.
Anyway with the dehumidifier, I can keep it as dry as I want as I want to.
My reservoir temps are fine, hitting a high of mid 70's. But that is now, it could reach higher depending on the temp in the room.
A water chiller is what I am thinking of, but I find little information that give me confidence to go out and buy one...which one?
I do have a portable AC unit, which is broken for some reason, need to fix that.
With that AC unit, I really have nearly complete control over everything and the system variates little.

I need to get my PH and PPM metiers calibrated, well solution.
My water sucks.
6.8ph 288PPM
So I use RO water, which sucks cause I have to go once a week and fill up two 5 gals of water.
But with that the PH and PPM are at a constant level. So it's worth it.
I do not remember water loss, which is something I will keep track of. I think I use 1-2 gals, depending, a week of tap water to replenish loss.
I will keep track PPM and PH throughout the grow. I seem to remember having problems with the PH at certien points with it jumping, and dropping...

A larger reservoir can help with that.

yeah I can go up to 15 or 20gals... but making a run for two 5gals a week is enough...
I need to make my own RO water and then I would no problem.
And here are the nuts and such I am working with...I need to update my stuff..

It looks like there is about 1/4 inch of water loss a day with my system for my 11 gal reservoir. And I am running the lights 24.
