haha yeah I did for about a year. Not anymore (Anxiety gets to me to much) I had to quit. But I saw things like;
A guy shot his face off completely with a shotgun and he was still alive and screaming out of his throat.
A 16 year old kid hung himself and I had to cut him down.
A 65 year old guy was up on his roof doing his shingles and fell off landing on the concrete below. (this was the worst one) I had to do CPR on him and his chest was like jelly. I had to literally guess on where to put my hands in order to give CPR right.
Those were the worst I have seen, but also I have saved many peoples lives before I quit. It was very rewarding, I had to shove many tubes down peoples throats in order to save their lives.
Fun fact: a 3 year old kid in Chicago fell into a river once in the middle of winter for an hour, and he survived because his body slowed down so much. Its called mammalian diving syndrome, and he came out of it with no brain damage what-so-ever. But yeah I'm not currently working no.

damn that's fuckin crazy dude. the kid hangin himself wouldn't be cool to have to get called to and cut down. the shotgun dude, how the fuck was he still alive? and the old guy just crushed all his ribs and sternum n shit?

lol I'm drunk so I'm going to answer those as best I can.
The guy with the shotgun used his toe to pull the trigger (most people do because they cant reach it with their hands) so he blew off his chin, nose and eyes and didn't hit his brain.
Cutting the kid down sucked a lot man, luckily I didn't have to dive CPR to him because he was clearly dead ( a rule as an EMT is you are not dead until you are cold, stiff, and have no heartbeat.)
And yeah the old man didn't have any recognizable shit in his chest at all. So I was just blindly giving CPR to him.
But when I was doing my clinicals there was a guy that came in with a BAC of .70 which was ridiculous, he pissed himself and his wife found him passed out face down on the floor. But he was joking around with me and shit. It was pretty funny. He's lucky he didn't die.

It does man, I dont know it wore on me a lot. I have fucked up dreams now. I just feel like shit a lot. It was really hard on me, and it takes a bigger man than me to keep with that shit for longer than I did.

One that the lcd screen works while taking still shots.
