 What should I do if I lose power and the lights go out in Veg!?????

Hi everyone,
I live in MD. We are to expect 1-2 feet of snow here by tomorrow night. Last time it snowed here only a few inches, and the power went out for nearly 4 hrs! I have 7 plants in vegetative state right now. The three oldest are 4 weeks old, some of the others are only seedlings! What do I do if I lose power and my lights go off for an extended period of time????? I have been keeping my plants on a 24/7 light cycle. last time this happened it was only couple hrs so it wasn't a big deal really, but if tomorrow is expected to have 1 or 2 feet of snow, there is a good chance I may lose power:
So what do I do if my lights happen to go off for over 12 hrs? I suppose for my older 4 week old plants maybe I'll be able to tell sex so might not be that horrible, but what about the poor little seedlings?
my set up is in my basement-I suppose If my power goes out I could take them upstairs and keep them near a window to receive light? is that my best option?

You answered your own question. I would bring them into the natural light if possible. If all else fails it probably wont hurt them too much to go with out light. As long as it doesn't keep happening over an extended period of time.

not much you can do in this situation but move them to where they can get a lot of natural sunlight, or, rent a generator.

Renting a generator is a good idea. I didn't think about that.

okay thanks for the advice. So far we still have power...unfortunately due to the snow theres not much light coming through the windows- its a very foggy day, but I guess thats better than nothing.
my real concern was the plants getting shocked from either extended darkness or too cool temps and turning them in to hermaphrodites or something..
