What ethno would you recomend to grow?

Im looking to start a garden this spring. What are your favorite ethno's to grow and why?
I am considering poppies but still need to research them more and see if its something I want to get into. Anyone have an opinion on opiates from experience?
I've already grown cubes and cannabis.

I've thought about poppies too...gardening in my area starts in February, so it's coming up fast!

Me too.
Also Cactus would be fun.
Morning Glories? or HBW?

It holds my water admirably, sometimes even reflecting the sun in beautiful patterns. If I should tap it, it has a lovely ring to it. But when I put this glass bong on the shelf and the wind knocks it over or my elbow brushes it off the table and it falls to the ground and shatters, I say, ‘Of course.’ When I understand that the glass is already broken, every moment with it is precious.”[/quote]

Poppies are fun and aesthetically pleasing. Cacti grow slow as fuck. Morning glories are invasive, so watch out. I want to get a garden going down here after winter. I have no idea what grows well in my sub tropical climate (Louisiana).

Poppies are always fun. Maybe grow some Salvia. Even though cacti grow slow I still love having San Pedro and Peruvian Torch in my garden. Datura are beautiful plants to grow but not consume unless your experienced with the plant. Passion flower is cool looking too. There are lot's of ethno's out there to grow you just got to look and find the seeds or cuttings!

I read a really cool poppy log a few years ago. I can't remember who's it was. It was on the shroomery. I've been meaning to purchase some Lophophora williamsii seeds for a while now. If i would have done it when i first thought about it i could be trippin now. I've got all the time in the world.

Im mainly interested in ethnos that provide at least a 1-2 hour effect and are not explicitly dangerous to consume or have high risk of addiction.
Im in cali so pretty much anything will grow.
Im definitly going to start some poppies. What else provide good effects?

you're starting poppies, and you want something with a low risk of addiction. The ONLY reason the risk would be low is that the yield of opium from poppies is so small!

Rofl, I think I can handle resisting opium. If I cant I'll just destroy the poppies and stash. Problem solved. :P
The poppies are just for a once in a while thing whenever I need something other than the ganja.
Maybe I'll grow an LSD plant. (jk, lol)

Im actually in cali now, and I am already planning on starting an outdoor shroom patch.
I wish I could get some good acid. It was everywhere in AZ.

i'm starting an ethno garden this spring, i either have or have ordered opium, wormwood, kratom, dream herb (found it on bouncingbearbotanicals...seemed like one of the more mellow of their collection) and a tobacco (i got this seed pack from the gardens at thomas jefferson's house in monticello...the species is nicotiana alata, "flowering tobacco"...anyone know if it's useable?). i also hope for the ayahuasca vine and p. viridis but need a second mastercard gift card to make it happen. i'm in norcal, am i making any bad decisions on plants? i know the poppies will at least survive if they don't thrive, i'm a little worried the kratom and the p. viridis won't like the dryness of the summers... i'm also gonna try and get a p. cyanescens patch going in the shady half of the garden. me and ma niggaz pick them wild so i'll probably steal some mycelium or something... i'd love to throw some bag seeds in too but circumstances unfortunately prohibit such fun.

AZ, you should do the poppies until you get addicted and then do kratom to trip the withdrawal away.
