New Growth

During the later stages of my flowering process, I bumped up some of my nutrients. Although most of the colas bulked up quite well, I have had some new, mainly leafy growth, at the top of one of my plants. I was just wondering if I should leave it or get rid of it. Sorry for no pictures.

There are a couple of things that could have caused this, one is that you have too much nitrogen still in your soil during flowering, which can cause your plant to continue producing vegetative growth. The other thing that is possible is that you have a Sativa dominant strain, and a basic 12/12 flower cycle is not a "critical" reduction in light, if you're sure its not the Nitrogen issue, switch to an 11/13 cycle and it should remedy the issue. Or you can just leave it and continue flowering, but you'll have to let it go a bit longer than usual.

Agreed.
I didn't want to jargon up the thread, but that is pretty much a by-the-book description of foxtailing.
Many times, that phenomenon is a result of excessive N OR the plant may just have a genetic predisposition toward that behavior.

that was from my first grow :P Bud wasn't of the greatest quality, but it was a good strain to start with.

I bumped my flowering nutrients and bloom catalyst, fairly low in N and possibly my timer could be a little short, I think ive noticed it turning on/off a little earlier than what I thought I set it at

well, if anything, just let it be. It's not going to harm your plants any.
