    #307255 - 10/31/09 12:38 AM (15 years, 30 days ago)

ok so ive read up on colloidal silver femming seeds which sounds great. my question is can you you just spray one flower to get male flowers? or do you have to do the whole plant?? would be nice to save some to smoke and for other reasons. any comments or thoughts??  thanks again

Yes you can spray just one branch. Wait till you have flowers and it's not gonna work. STS is the way to go if you have access to it. The main reason it's used by all but one of the major seed breeders to make their fems.

just get some pure silver.

I think you could use any pure silver chain (get something thin), or even a coin?

ok, well made one. but i got Deionized water from the lab.  looked at it nothing happened then i quickly remembered that distilled water is far from DI water so i had to put a bit of salt to get it going hahaha  then you could see the silver just falling off the wire and bubbles

peace

hmm was kept in a dark area taped up bottle. my solution turned grey and had tonnes of crap already on the bottom, as described by peopel who left theres running a very very long time. hmm so a good or bad thing?? the tiny bit of salt that is. I also curled up wire so teh connection was consentrated and they were only about an inch apart.... did i fudge it with the salt. sodium chloride adn potasium chloride...????    anyone. i cant see how it would ruin it. bit of silver chloride?? and some pottasium and sodium oxides?? maybe giving the color i seen instantly.

hmm i have read that you cant use real DI water. and adding hydrogen pyroxide will decrease the particle size (of silver chloride)and make the ionic silver into colloidal. but you will always have both. hmm.

i added hydrogen pyroxide to my grey shit and low and behold it turned clear to white. see if anything settles out. i just wish i knew how the silver is suppost to work to fem seeds cause it might not make a lick of diference....
