Addictions Forum or Sub-forum.

Hey, it seems to me like we need a place on this site dedicated to people struggling with addictions. It would just be a chill place where people could come tell us what they are facing and get the support they really need. Not only would it help people, I think it would also put a more positive look on the growery. People might look at it like "wow they actually care about one another" maybe Cannabis isn't such a bad thing. But the main reason for the forum of course would be to help people out. I have seen some pretty cool things happening on my thread. Things like people sending tea to help with with-drawls, and people checking in every day to make sure everything is going alright. Anyways, I think it would be a good idea. Just a suggestion.

The closest thing I can see to this here at the Growery is a Health & Wellness forum, similar to the Physical & Mental Well-Being forum we have at the Shroomery.
Having a forum explicitly for addiction here may strengthen the all too common argument presented by the anti-pot campaign which attempts to indicates that marijuana is not only addicting itself, but also a gateway drug that opens the door to even more addicting substances.
I do have compassion for those who have a hard time managing their substance intake, but to advertise a support group for this problem in the form of an Addictions forum on a message board designed for marijuana is a little out of place, in my opinion. Though we can certainly have a more comprehensive forum that is designed to address such situations as addiction.

Very well said. Not to mention that makes sense in every sense of the word. Physical and Mental Well Being Forum would be perfect.
