I'm not looking for much. Any general guesses as to whether it's sativa/indica/hybrid would be great. Any other info would be appreciated as well.
A friend brought it by as a "gift". He said that he had planted it but, then sort of got busy and forgot about it. He says that now that he's just moved he doesn't have anywhere to cure it and so he said I could have it. I figure I might as well cure it and give it a try.
By the way... it smells extremely, overpoweringly, skunky. It's in the other room but this whole end of the house smells FUCKING AWESOME MAN!!! ...sorry, I've just never had fresh weed curing in my house before.
looks very much like a newer strain of the herb. Chem dog maybe ? http://www.lataco.com/taco/wp-content/uploads/chem_dawg1.jpg you said it has a skunky smell that was overpowering throughout more than one room...so i am gonna assume a hybrid actually , from my personal experience the headiest/heavy skunk smell can best be achieved with a sativa dominate hybrid. your friend is the fucking man for passing that plant off to you, i get high with a little help from my friend

I've been getting excited, reading up on drying & curing techniques.
Realistically speaking, he did say that he kind of forgot about the plants for awhile so it's probably not going to turn out to be that great no matter what I do but, I'm not discouraged in the least!
As a non-grower it's exciting as hell for me to have the chance to experience at least some part in the life cycle of caring for the plant... oddly though I get to care for it as it withers and dies...
Cool! It's been a source of inspiration for me to learn more about cannabis cultivation techniques & horticulture in general.
