I usually change the channel when i see that stand up comedy is going to be on. im not a fan, unless it's a night out on the town or something. I had a buddy in phx that did stand up comedy. He was a real asshole. I never went to see him perform. He was hired by one of our business partners to do some stand up at their xmas party. I heard later on they asked him to leave because of the vulgar nature of his 'performance'.

Women stand up comedians are usually all the same. They like to talk about their periods and its not funny. I dont really like stand up at all though unless its like Dave Chappelle or Mitch Hedberg. Comedians just usually arent all that funny.

I hear women.....but yes I would say most of the things they say are in one ear and out the other. Women comedians suck ballsacks.

yes, bill hicks is quite a unique comedian 
all i basically listen to is mitch hedberg, dave chappelle, steven wright, lewis black, dana carvey, and the legendary george carlin - who is probably more of a philosopher than comedian to me

Yea I've heard of bill hicks and I dont like him. Hes a know it all and likes to rant and rave without adding any comedy to it. Its cool if you're not just some dumbshit guy doing one liners and want to be smart about comedy but I dont want to watch someone who you can tell is just some guy whos always pissed off and mad and probably was an asshole in IRL. I never laughed at any of his shit that I've watched on youtube

yeah, it is a questionable story at best. I can never trust a comedian to tell the truth without embellishing for the sake of the story.
