In the bay area you get a few p. cyan. pins around mid October.  There are no more pins by Feb. 1.  I'm not there these days but my homies should be sending me some come November.  I have no idea where I can go hunt cubies around New Orleans.  No car so, maybe not worth the effort.  Happy hunting!

Cool. I checked multiple cyan patches already and found nothing.

I did however, find gals. This is a good sign that cyans are right around the corner..

Any body noticed a certain plant often near cyan patches. ?? I think i found this plant that mycelium lives on and its super popular in nor cal landscaping. I duno. Looks like a palmetto just bigger/darker/thinner leaves.

the plants arnt as important as the woodchips. ive found the under a tone of different plant.

me too, but one seems to have the mycelium growing up the leaves. Might just be mold. I ll show you on a hunt.
