Oh no sir, average weight per day, is a figure you calculate based on final dry weight vs. time i.e. seedling stage/cloning + veg + flower time.
Well I was just throwing that out there as nothing like that exists commercially, AT ALL, I think there's some spreadsheets out there floating around that do most of these functions... but they're obscure and hidden.
I think a really developed tool spreadsheet, stand alone program etc, that could prefer these functions for medical growers would be a healthy boon to the community.

hmm i see what you're saying here, but logically it makes no sense to factor in veg time for this. Your plant is not budding, therefore not adding weight, so really your numbers will be skewed towards the small end when you calculate it. I could see using this from the beginning to end of flower, then the data would be useful when comparing new grows to past grows of the same strain.
I can add something like that.

Coda, I would factor in all growth for final weight, then have a separate section for final yield by weight, in both the wet and dry states.
That way with the data of final weight and the separate data of final yield wet weight of fruit, you can subtract one from the other to figure out how much of your plant was stems and leafs, and how much of it was budtastical.
