what wattage/combined wattage (if your realy wnat to go that far) are you commercial growers using?
there seems to be a lot of paranoia on the subject of power usage. i think it would be beneficial to every1 if we know what people are pushing incident free.
me myself have went from months of 45-50 dollar electric bills in the summer to 275 dollar a month bills in the fall and winter(electric heat and shitty insulation) without raising any questions. i know i know it;s not from growing but it is a pretty big boost in energy consumption.
so lets hear about your 12,000 watt lighting systems and 5k watt hydro setups or atleast afoaf's;). oh preferably in america but every1's info is welcome.

I'm gonna be pushing a total of almost 3000 watts on my next grow, and I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it.

yeah i have seen that thread. it is great info and some of it came as a surpsise to me, but most of these appliances only run an hour max a day. hahaha, i could use a cover and start a laundry service. could say i got 10 dryers runnin 24/7.

Ok, here we go again.
In Cali you don't have to worry about shit. Lets just say I've seen a bill go from about 80 a month to over 800 and that is not a joke.
Now the power company in most of Cali is PG&E who have said they are not turning power usage over without a warrant cause they are tired of their guys getting shot at. The cops got pissed started using PG&E color trucks and the company sued the cops and won. They won't turn over shit unless something draws the cops to you first.
Next if you take your script to PG&E and let them know your gonna grow they have a lower rate that they give. Go nuts.

Two 400 watt hid's, a stanley blower thats on 24/7, then a deionizer and a small (4in) oscillating fan both run 24/7 plus all the normal shit for apartment living. I paid $110 last month in electricity (670 sq ft apt). This month should be a lot less due to the fact that I haven't run my AC at all. IDK how many that is and i also don't know what my $/kwh are so can't really figure up how many kilowats i used last month. at first i thought this was a thread about how much wattage a timer used.

Run a 1000 watt light but I'm in the sub tropics so an a/c makes up the most cost. About $150 month.
