If its no longer a working leave cut it and let light go below it, IMO.
A pic would be nice.

Use it at a very very small rate.
1/4 or less of the suggested dosage for a plant.

That's what PCP is. Didn't you know?

Yah, with an NPK like that and with as small as your plants are 1/4 would be the MAX i would go to start.
If you can afford miracle grow, why can't you afford a bottle of real nutes?

Don't expect to come in here asking if you should cut a leaf off your plant because it 'looks ugly' and get a proper answer; especially without any photos. Just look what you're asking.
You're asking if because a leaf is shrivelled and 'looks ugly' if it'll do damage remaining on the plant.
Plants won't be damaged because they look ugly. But plants will look ugly because they've been damaged.
If your plant is only a few weeks old and the leaves are shriveling, then there is something causing that; it's a sign that something isn't going right. And just to be certain; your plant's 'ugliness' isn't causing it.
It's most probably the straight miracle grow you're feeding it. But without more description/photos it's impossible to tell what your 'ugly shriveled leaf' is trying to tell you.

It is a blooming *miracle*.
Miracle grow, as stated repeatedly and continously on these forums is over priced garbage and long term expect nothing but nasty from it.
I do concur...if you can afford Miracle Grow...my can't you buy real nutes or even organic.
If you are using soil, then I have had great success with Fish Emulsion 5-1-1 along with a proper soil mixture (Not Miracle Grow soil or dirt from your backyard).
Peace out.

with all memory and fate, driven deep beneath the waves,

IME, Lower is better when it comes to miracle grow products! That 24-8-16 seems a bit hot. If i remember right they use some time released nutes that when applied frequently can end up burning the plants.
I have used several(scott's,peter's,shultz) of that type fertilizers in a pinch. Just have to use smaller servings then recommended and use less frequently.
IMO also, if a person is going to go through the effort of growing then a person should do so when they can afford to do it right. Proper soils, nutrients and lights can at least maximize your effort and be worth while. But since you have this one going, play with the miracle grow, just remember what people have told you. And since it is pretty much winter, why not start composting your greens and scraps from the dinner table. When you can afford, buy some decent peat or organic compost to mix with your scraps. Follow the normal routine of aerating and mixing the pile and by next grow you will have some nice nutrient rich compost to add to your soils. Just a thought.
And don't get so pissy with people's comments brah! Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one. Miracle grow is just one of them thing most newb's do when they are learning. And most people know it is pretty harsh stuff, so they are a little on the offensive when it comes to chemical nutes. Organics are just more forgiving and seem to be more excepted by your plants roots. You'll learn, stick around!
