I gotta show off these pics, and report my success with LED lighting. This setup grows basil and tomatoes just as well. Here's the setup:
Vegetative: 4th Generation UFO LED/Quad Spectrum
Flowering: Added UFO Satellite System 8 socket ring with
3x 3W 660nm red LED spots
2x 3W 440nm blue LED spots
3x 26w CFL warm bulbs

so you have had success with the LED's?
never seen them used personally but have been wondering about them for a while.
what strain is that you've got going?

So far, so good. I'm measuring and doing science to it. I've gotten quite a bit of negative feedback, but also quite a bit of positive. I'm determined to figure it out myself. Here's the flowering pics, 2 weeks into the flowering cycle:

my biggest concern is whether the budding will be worth it... for instance, the final weight of the plant. They look healthy though.

yea i manage decent with LEDs
  
I currently use a 120W triband and a 90W triband in 2 separate tents.
Its a damn good smoke too
