Ping Pong, I don't remember seeing one of those ping pong tables out in the yard but I think things are different up there. As far as the weights go they are removed now. People were going in criminals and coming out super criminals.
In fact you use to tell how long a guy had been out before getting busted again and coming back by how much muscle he lost cause the gang boys don't tend to work out much when they get out.

Here, at least with the prison im familiar with they still do pingpong. The weights are all cable machines because someone got smacked in the head with a 25lb weight or something like that.
The guys I know don't get a chance to lose very much muscle before they got back to jail. I know guys who basically live in jail. One of my friends who's been to prison usually no longer than a year I'd say average stays of 3months just went to jail and is looking at 5 years since he's had so many prior assault charges. He's basically been in jail for his entire adult life which really started when he was 13.
