It was cheap, $29.97, and has high capacity with quick and easy loading. All of my most important requirements for it's purpose fulfilled.
I set up a BB trapping target on the other side of my living room which allows me to safely shoot it indoors and even re-use the BBs as if they are not cheap enough already.
Makes a great stress reliever as well as just a fun toy. Damn little thing is loud too adding greatly to my satisfaction. It's actually as loud as or louder than a 22 short fired from a rifle.
I must have gotten a good one. Something is different somehow. I bought one for one of my kids a few years ago and his wasn't near as loud it seems.
I also bought one of these:
I decided that I like the gun better without. Simple, basic and fits my pocket better. That's a must as I like to carry it around a lot. A lot like my pecker. I like to use it often. Spontaneity is very important.
I think I'll try the laser site out with one of my real guns that doesn't already have one. The quality is surprising for the price.
It appears just as good as any made for "real" guns but was automatically much cheaper since it's intended use is for a "toy". I would not be surprised to discover that it is indeed a site made for real guns, just in a different package and with a lower price.
I also got a light for it that mounts on top:
It's destiny I decided is the same as that of the laser site. It interferes with aiming a little in addition to make it l\ and I don't really need it as I'm usually wearing a head lamp when out in the dark.
I carry it to work with me too and have a target setup there as well. Got one in the camper too. I keep a box of CO2 cartridges and tubes of BBs in all three places in addition to carrying a spare tank and tube in my pocket all the time.
I have enjoyed this more recently than I did the things as a kid. A good friend of mine accuses me of having a $100.00 a week BB gun habit.
I've taken a few shots at him so far. If ya knew him you would understand.
He is right in a sense however. It is quite addictive.
About the only problem so far is me occasionally giving in to my nearly constant desire to "take something out" besides my regular targets. The most recent victim was a can of WD-40. That was about $5.00 wasted. I could have at least lit a candle next to it to ignite the spewage. Maybe next time.
At least it was outside. That would have been mess otherwise.
