Does it take for your lungs to clean themselves from having been under the abuse of smoking? I know that they can fix themselves more or less as long as you don't have Emphysema. I am just wondering since I am planing on going without smoking heaving after 4/20. I think I am going to get a vape for myself as a 4/20 present.

I don't know how long it takes. I know this, whenever my dad (Magash) coughs he claims there is another 8th of bubble hash ready.

Yeah it definitely builds up in there
Take a T-shirt and cover the mouthpiece of a piece you are hitting
Look at the T-shirt after you hit it
Quite a large amount of tar on the T-shirt, now isn't there?
Makes me wonder just how my lungs are still functioning

I remember from Super High Me, Doug Benson's lungs got around 3% better after quitting for a month. 
The sooner you stop the better your chances. Good idea on getting a vaporizer

Well until you actually get a disease from having to much tar in there, your lungs can still cleanse themselves.
I have to smoke schwag, and honestly I have to smoke a lot to get a good high going. That is why I am getting the vape.
