yes and no.. but mainly yes
I think that not every dream has much significance but many do
for one, dreams can manifest something that has been festering in your mind. you can wake up and think about whats going on in your head a bit more objectively.
then again I don't think that every random thing in your dreams has an intrinsic meaning behind it. some things are just random or perhaps just testing the realm of possibilities but don't necessarily have root in your waking life.
but then again.. given the fact that there is no defining line between your dreams of sleep and your dream of life.. who knows..

its your sub conscious brah i think they mean something, the thoughts have to come from somewhere. the hard part is finding out what they mean

but how about thoughts that come from nowhere
I mean.. have you ever had a dream where you read a book? I remember a few distinct semi-conscious day dreams where I have and I've always wondered where this text that I've never encountered could possibly flow from.
Ever been tripping and had thoughts enter your head that were not your own? I've many times attributed this to just my inner being but I also know that there have been times where I've shared thoughts with other people in a room.
I personally feel that sub-conscious is more of a universal-consciousness
