 I'm really not too concerned with that aspect of the campaign. That's a risk the admins decided to take when they created the site. We aren't a site that promotes the free exchange of how to acquire drugs. We are here to provide information, share knowledge and experiences, not telling people how to score. That should be evident in anything we create for public display.

Really tired right now, but I'd love to help out with this! 
I am really good with photoshop and make a lot of signatures for the Shoomery and growery. I can whip up some awesome cards or something.

Hey Growery!
Coming up here very soon we're gonna start a big marketing campaign to bring new members to the Growery.
The first phase is going to be distribution of some 4x6 cards at various events including concerts, festivals, and cannabis related rallies.
We'll talk more about the details once they're printed, but
WE WANT THE MEMBERS HERE TO GET INVOLVED!
So, those of you who are so inclined, please use this thread to submit your idea for the advertising cards.
The card will have two sides, the front should be eye catching and can be anything from personal art, to photoshop work, or anything else you can think of. The front should have "The Growery" somewhere on it, and possibly the "Marijuana Demystified" phrase found on the homepage.
The back should have some references or bullet points regarding what we're all about: Cultivation, Activism, Socializing, etc...use your imagination.
Let's see what kind of talent we've got floating around here Growery!

I have a great idea, someone send me an ounce or so of really heady buds and ill split it all up into half grams and give it out and say hey dude if you want more for free register on this site (hand card) and shoot me a PM 
in fact, if 10 of you sent me ounces that would just be that many more people that would be on the growery

yeah.... I am a little bit concerned also about advertising in my area for that same reason. if it becomes popular with stoners, it's very likely to become popular with police as well

let's all stay inside the house so we don't get hit by a car. It seems like that kind of logic to me. You have to take some risks. The larger our scope of distribution the better. More suggestions?

All I'm saying is that if you pass out your flyers to a bunch of random people and you say that you passed them out at a concert chances are those people will know who you are. And if they happen to be cops they might be able to find you. And if you grow they could find that too.

I understand the risks. I'm not that paranoid about it.  I would think it would be difficult to associate a person posting here as being the exact person that handed you the ad/flyer. Maybe that was my girlfriend that handed you the flyer, or a friend that doesn't have an account, or a bum that I hired? There are lots of ways to protect your online identity. We just have to be intelligent about the operation. But im curious to see what everyone else says about this.

If you think that LEO isn't lurking the Shroomery, ICMag, Rollitup, and yes eventually the Growery, then I've got a bridge in California to sell ya.
We are here to spread information, and we recognize, and try to minimize, the risk that we take.
I hope that at least some of us feel that the risk is worth the opportunity to stop the spread of much misinformation.
