You are also missing information on the numerous variants and subspecies that are indigenous to remote areas of the world.
But I'm just getting technical.

There how does that sound? It really wasnt this big of a deal to me. Mainly I just wanted to point out the size of the leaves.

You people are starting to piss me off. I said nothing about going way into detail I wanted to give noobs something to look at to tell them what to look for in their plant. If you dont want this take it down. It helped me so I thought I would put it up here.

I'm sorry dude.
I thought since you added a little section about Ruderalis that this was just an informational thread about the entire genus of Cannabis.
Yeah, I definitely didn't mean to sound nit-picky or some shit.

Sure. I'm sure if we all put in on this, it might become a sticky-worthy thread.

You know actually it would be hard to correct a lot of the info here. Samples very so much just in the same strain let alone the same plant. Top buds are usually better then the buds off of the bottom of the plant and so on.
Then ya gotta get into the whole did the grower know his shit or did the sample come from some dork who can't grow shit. How old was the sample? Yadda yadda so you really have to take THC, CBN and so on percentages with a grain of salt and you can bet your ass if the information came from the breeders themselves they tested a ton of each strain and put up the numbers of the sample that had the highest numbers.
Example: you can get 10 people that just came out of same pot club and ask em what is the most potent bud in there and you may just get 10 different answers.
or ask em "which stran helps you to sleep" some are gonna like the GDP, some the Purple Kush and so on.

The main point I wanted to get across is the size difference of the leaves depending on if its Sativa or Indica. CBN isnt that what THC turns into after it starts breaking down?

sativa's also come from africa, the fiji islands, most of the tropical world.
ruderealis comes from Russia, Canada, and other areas with similar climates.
There's basically marijuana indigenous to every part of the world.

Sativas are just about the opposite of Indicas. They are tall, thin plants, with much narrower leaves and grow a lighter green in color. They grow very quickly and can reach heights of 20 feet in a single season. They originally come from Colombia, Mexico, Thailand and Southeast Asia. Once flowering has begun, they can take anywhere from 10 to 16 weeks to fully mature. Flavors range from earthy to sweet and fruity. Sativa's higher THC than CBD(change this) equals cerebral, soaring type of high, more energetic which can stimulate brain activity and may produce hallucinations. Sativa plants are taller, take longer to mature, have less chlorophyll and more accessory pigments (accessory pigments protect the plant from excessive sunlight). As Sativa strains have less chlorophyll than Indica they take longer to grow, mature, and require more light.
Sativa typically takes longer to germinate and flower also, and grows more gangly then Indica breeds. (lanky not gangly?) This is completely relative to seed size and only in natural conditions. Sativa seeds (small) will germinate FASTER indoors under favorable conditions. Indica seeds (larger) will germinate faster in natural conditions due to their abundance of resources. Sativa seeds don't have as much food due to the smaller seed and will wait longer for favorable conditions to increase chance of survival.
Yield is usually lower than Indica, but is very potent. Thai Sativa grows taller and has a longer flowering period, so they are better suited for outdoors.
Indicas originally come from the hash producing countries of the world like Afghanistan, Morocco, and Tibet(Pakistan, kazakhstan, etc too) . They are short dense plants, with broad leaves and often grow a darker green. After flowering starts they will be mature in 6 to 8 weeks. The buds will be thick and dense, with flavors and aromas ranging from pungent skunk to sweet and fruity. The smoke from an Indica is generally a body type stone, relaxing and laid back. Indica's higher CBD than THC equals a much heavier, sleepy type of high.(change this) Indica plants have a heavy, stony high that is relaxing and can help different medical problems. Indica yield is usually higher than Sativa, and shorter growing season. Better for indoor growing, because they don't get as tall. Indica's are better suited for a shorter growing season which would be an outdoor situation, the rest doesn't make much sense.
