I voted #8, excellent composition, decent resolution and a tasty lookin' nugget to boot!
I'm also a little tired of seeing these polls revert to little more than a campaign for members who spend the most time dickin' around our social forums to network a clique. Ultimately however, that is to be in part expected while the site is still relatively small. We don't have a huge voter turnout, but in the fullness of time and as our membership grows in size, these artifacts of the popularity campaign will become negligible to the final result. Unfortunately, that time may still be more than a year away...
But - and I address this specifically to Integra21 - just because you don't win some internet poll does not mean that your work goes unnoticed. I have been very pleased to follow the topics of the generous growers on this website, and anyone who takes this hobby seriously can easily discern the members here who put the most effort into their passion for pot. Integra21, you are definitely one of those members! It would be a loss to the Growery community if you resign your participation here.

I wasn't mad that i didnt win. I stated my opinion earlier. no need to repeat since it wasn't pleasant. But I appreciate it. I have already updated my grow log. I really like this site. Just wish I had cash to get supporter for hi-res pic uploads. But one of these days. And thanks for all of the kind words.

Yeah, i waited a year to start doing the POTM's for that reason, there wasn't a large enough population. I noticed an increase in the number of original pictures people were posting so I started it up in May. Next month I will block the option to view the results before it's over. Add a bit of suspense to the poll and potentially (although im not too hopeful) avert some of that voting based on cliques. I think it really helped when you gave the July (I think july's) POTM voting both thread a sticky on all forums. There was a whole lot more voting when that was done. I would think that that would help even it out, errrr at least dilute the people voting for the person. just a few ideas.
