Hack your cellphone to disable the mics when not in use...I'm sure some of you have heard that your mic an be activated when you aren't using it or the mic can be I mean...Well do something about it fool.

The only problem that I see is the kind of switch this setup uses\\This will only work for flip phones which I'm doing this on but to adapt it to my blackjack I'm going to have to put some other kind of switch in it\\Not sure how yet
Anyway, I'm going about an hour or so out of town and I'll be back in 5 hours or so but since I'm not driving I'm finishing this project up as I ride I'll let you know how it gose

I don't give a shit how many phones its been used on. I think you'd be surprised how many it really has been used on. I don't really care about people hacking my phone and listening thats not the issue for me...The issue is when the government get a warrant to 'bug' you but never have to leave their chair to do it...They just click a few buttons and listen in.
I know its a long shot that they will use this against you but I think you'll hear about it more and more as time goes on. I mean when news hits cnet you know its about to get used more and more...By police and by hackers.
I just want to be prepared when some hacker exploits the shit and some little script kiddie gets ahold of it and starts sitting in mcdonalds with his mom listening to what I have to say. When corporate executives take their batteries out of their phone to keep this from happening then you know its legit. I mean...They have a reason to be hacked and I don't at this point but I'm just very conscious about my security.

If you have been in the computer scene for a long while, you learn that if it can be hacked, it will be hacked!
New hacks such as the cell phone deal is right up the script kiddies ally. Script kiddies are those who get thrill over these little exploits. They usually run "real hacker" progs and just enjoy the fact they are "hacking". They were the ones running boot codes in yahoo chat. The ones who put false yahoo web pages just to gain access to your yahoo messenger account.
On top of the script kiddies we now have to worry about our government listening into whatever. And this case they get a warrant and then execute it and you don't even know about it. You are not served this warrant! This "was" meant to fight terror, but like anything else our gov. does it ends up used for other purposes like law enforcment.

Fuck no they are going to start using this a lot I put money on that. The CIA has been doing it for years, hackers have known about it for years(kevin mitnick being among the first), now the FBI is using it...Not long before local law enforcement has access to these technologies and then there is no telling what they will use it for...How many illegal wiretaps do you think happen every year? I don't know the answer but a lot and this is soon to be the new wire tap.

I used an old magnet and bought a switch from radioshack and everything worked out fine. Its pretty neat to have in case you are paranoid like me...Say what you want and for all you people out there I will show you how to do this on a non flip phone once I figure out the best way myself...And for you haters here is another fucking link that isn't about my paranoia
