How often should I spray the underside of my leafs with kelp concentrate? (mixed properly to 1/2 the directions on the bottle to a Gal.)
Daily? Weekly?
Also If I'm using a liquid pH detector (tells me what PH my solution is) can it be reading efficiently after adding MaxiGrow from General Hydroponics? I got a severely acidic reading after testing the solution post adding the fertilizer, pre-fertilizer it was balanced, yet adding PH up did not affect the reading.
Foliar feeding can be done as regularly as you prefer, though I find that alternating schedules work best if you are going to foliar spray. It is important you don't do this during flowering as it will likely result in a mold condition, as well as introduce unnecessary nitrogen to the plants diet.
Foliar feed on days you only water the soil, not the days you feed the soil.
Remember to keep the ratios low, and using a sticker/spreader when applying to make the most of the foliar spray.
