howdy y'all. I have a product called Safer's Trounce (Potassium salts 1% and pyrethrins 0.01%), tried it for the spider mites that are on my 3 week old seedlings, and it is pretty much useless it seems, they are back the next day after dousing the plants with this shit. Any other recomendations???I have access to all sorts of pesticidesif need be, but i would rather try and keep it as least harsh chemically as possible if ya know what i mean.

Welcome to the Growery!
Be careful with that "safer" brand stuff! Spider mites can be a frustrating problem. How many times have you applied this solution? It will take a few treatments to get them under control. You can always try the natural approach and order up some natural predators to spider mites. Lots of websites sell them and some even eat themselves once the mite population is too small to be a food source anymore.

AVID, one dose and no more mites. Strong chem but you can play with all the natural predators and such or you can get rid of the problem.

thanks for the responses, i did the lazy man way and posted first, then searched after...whoops, it looks like the sticky traps are a nice way to keep the bastards under control and then i will go for the AVID or Scimitar CS after that if i still have a prob

Be very careful using AVID as it is very dangerous to your health. I don't know if I would even want to smoke flowers that have been treated with that stuff...
Cold temperatures slow the reproduction of mites.
Ladybugs will eat the mites.
Pyrethrum foggers also work well on mites.
Neem oil can work, but mites in various areas can adopt an immunity to various treatments.

yea but i prefer not to smoke mite/mold ridden weed. Personal preference
