i was pissed man. i was gonna get this badass piece today i was like "hey lemme see that bong right there" and the guy was like "now i cant sell you anything, because bong is only used for marijuana."
isnt that retarded? sucks living in florida man how retarded people have to act about weed.

Yeah, I made that mistake once. I asked if I could see the bong and they told me not to call it that. They never denied me sale though.
Another place where I am good friends with the owner(smoked with the whole family) I asked to see a dugout and they said I need to call it a cigarette eliminator or something else just as stupid.
I see why they have to make these rules but sometimes your just in the spirit of things and it slips off the tongue.
Denying you purchase probably is some stupid Florida law. Or else the guy didn't like you.

Yeah anywhere I've EVER been, you can't say "bong" I thought that was a common thing.

Ive bought so many pieces over the years and never dared to call them what they are. where i grew up any glass smoking instruments are illegal unless its a "hookah" so when you buy a bong if you are lucky enough to find one, it will have a hose coming out where the drop stem is and it will have the stem and bowl coming out of a big cork on the top where you would suck in from. If you try using it like this all you will get is water through the hose. It comes with all the pieces to making it a fully functioning bong but one time while i was in the head shop that had these someone called it a bong and they permanently banned him from the shop and the woman that works there is such a fucking bitch.

They can give you 10 years in jail for operating a head shop. In todays world we are lucky any head shops are around. Remember operation pipe dreams? If you call a water pipe a bong there is no doubt it is illegal. The guy just doesn't want to get in trouble. He probably wishes he could talk about ripping bongs all day and getting high. But in todays world you really don't want to risk things that involve imprisonment.

That is truely ridiculous. So is the law there you can sell bongs, buy bongs and own bongs. So long as you don't call them bongs? That's Political Correctness gone horribly wrong.
