is 10-56-10 feed adequate for flowering, i mixed it ~1/4 strength so i dont burn the shit outta the plant. It is definitely starting to fatten up since feeding em 3 days ago. Glad there is finally some N and P in the soil now. I Had a surplus of K before feeding them, thats probably the only thing that was keepin the plant alive lol. I really enjoy reading peoples comments and opinions. Please feel free to speak your mind. This is my first real grow where i actually attempted to take care of the plant rather than just sitting it out and hopin that shit works.
Sorry for the poor quality pics. Gonna take some macro shots later hopefully
Also should i add some epsom salt (mg) to my water next time i go to check on it to take care of that purple stem or should the bloom ferts im giving it have some in it?? If i should give em some, how much would u recommend per gallon of water?

WordsWorth said: You can make that plant super yeild. Its ALL about tieing down correctly and slowly turning it on to more space around it. Cut back all brush from the ground up, 2feet around that lady. Within 2 weeks the lower branches will explode and it will just fill up the space.
Expose the inner plant to light via Low-Stress-Tieing. Always leave the top tip node to shoot for the sun. And make sure to cut back all that competitor brush.
Good luck ninja!
Words of truth. Last grow I had one plant tied down and another upright. The tied down plant was nearly twice the size of the other.
I've also heard of people cutting the tip and tying it into the soil to produce more roots, and it shoots out again, they told me it was the "snake method". Don't know how true it is as I never tried it.

While I can offer no experiences using the "snake method" I don't think its worthy of a facepalm. Cannabis tips are adept at producing roots, or cloning would not as easy as it is. I don't see why a cannabis stem from a plant could not or would not produce another set of roots if given an adequate rooting medium. Plenty of other plants do this, in fact I believe it is salvia divinorum's primary method of reproduction. Now whether or not this method would be useful or productive is another story.

I'm talking about the main stem tip.
Admittedly it is 3rd hand knowledge. The person who told me about it is the same one that showed me the tying down method.
I don't see why it's worth a face palm, but thanks for the welcome. I assume the tip is cut the same way a a cutting. Cut it on a 45 degree angle, remove the leaves, dip it in rooting hormone for a boost. If I had the space in my garden I'd try it myself.
I'm told it'll take up as much space as it's given if you keep rooting the tips. The advantage apparently is the rapid growth because there's so much roots to absorb goodness.
This is all coming from Australia too, home to the legends such as the polyploid ABC (Australian Bastard Cannabis) and the Mullum Madman, anything's possible when it comes to weed. Hell you could veg them out for years and create a tree.

Ok, so after replying to this "Snake Method" post i started to think about it and curiosity finally got the better of me. So i messaged and expert, Magash. He tells me that the snake method is a valid growing technique. And that it was adopted from the strawberry industry.

it's a take off on air layering. Air layering is taking a branch and where you would take the cutting you cut a little notch in it. Like a little v cut. Then wrap some soil around it then wrap that in cloth, Keep it moist. What is happening is pretty much taking cuttings on the plant itself. There just moving the branch down to the dirt level.
The idea comes from the strawberry industry
Hope he don't mind me posting this info he sent me, but i think it is a good bit of info for all to learn from and look into further.

Oh ok. That helps me visualize the technique better. It sounds interesting. Now which one of you are going to try it?!
