 How do you smoke butane honey oil?

I recently came across a gram of quality butane honey oil and I am wondering what the best method of ingestion would be.
I have tried lacing joints, and smoking it with hot knives.
Also what are some signs of quality when inspecting BHO?

Quality = Golden color. Black or green means some contaminants made their way into the final product. Of course the real test is the taste test, but on the whole almost all BHO is some damn potent stuff.
As for smoking it personally i like putting a drip or two on top of a little bit of weed and smoking it through my bong. If you want to just smoke the oil there's nothing wrong with filling your bowl with a small amount of ash and dripping the oil on top of the ash.

or you can put a drop or two on a very fine screen and smoke it out of any piece you want
or dip a paperclip in the oil and light it up and just straight inhale all the smoke 
I used to do that last one in the bathrooms at highschool

usually on ash for flavor.

i smoke it in the glass tip elbow of a glass mouse water feeder. IT slides back and forth in the lower arm of the elbow. I just smoked some afgoo like that and i puked. Then i smoked some i made of some thunder fuck on some oakland purp. Thunder Fuck oil is the SHIT!really really clean and clear. yum yum. I also when making it spray it on a plate or a pyrex dish very very thin and let it sit for a while. How long do you guys wait untill you smoke it. ( ie. drying curing time?)also while here what brands of butane do you guys use? Does it matter?

As for butane brand, I swear by colibri or vector. Anything quintuple filtered should be fine though. When in doubt, spray it on a mirror and wait about 10 minutes, if you see residue, that is the extraneous shit you are going to taste/see in your oil.

its weird man. I made some shit with some booboo west oakland trim and it was dark green with a butane smell. But i used shitty butane. Then i used the same shitty butane on mantanuska tundra trim(fan leaves only) and it came out yellow orange and had no residual smell. I just smoked 4 ounces in 1 bowl( i guess). it was great. And ive experimented much further and my conclusion is quality weed/quality butane equals much much better product. Duh i guess huh? but this is a very very fun process.
