 Pipe cleaning.

One of my old best friends that moved a state away stoped by and gave me a little $5 metal pipe, and I like to keep my pipes as clean as possible to prevent clogs. Isotropic alcohol will work if i take the pipe apart and soak it right? Should I add some salt to the solution?

ok, im gona try to grab a ceramic bowl so I can build up the resin over several cleanings. That way I can have a last resort. Nasty shit but with my money situation sometimes in the summer I have gone 2+ weeks without any of my own cuz I haven't had a damn job in 12+ months.

Yeah I feel yuh on that one. I havent had steady work in over a year as well. I sure hope this economy pulls through.

Make sure its sea salt, the grains are bigger and it makes it easier.

^^^ word What I do is get some saran wrap and a couple rubber bands (this works for waterpipes too) then put your iso Alch in the piece ( I use a cup at a time max) and then add a 1/4 cup salt max to it and put a couple layers of saran wrap on the opening(s) and rubber band them shut tightly. Then shake away for about 10 minutes, rinse out with tap water and repeat until most of it is gone, then soak it in iso Alch overnight and rinse it in the morning with some salt water and it should be clean as when you go it new =)

Pour whatever iso alcohol u have in the pipe, throw some salt in it and shake it for a bit. Then empty it and run water in it and repeat. works like a charm for me. but my pipe doesn't get years worth of resin buildup. no need to make it more complicated than it has to be.

You can always boil it if you want it really clean. Of course doing so will stink up the whole neighborhood, so use caution.

that's up to you. Alcohol evaporates really fast. I usually run it under water after the alcohol scrub.

well after It dried alittle I tried smoking it and it had a gross aftertaste.

Omgz I had this shit figured out when I was like 16, just fill with Iso, Tbsp. of Salt. Shake. Rinse. Dry. Smoke... Should taste nothing but the weed.
