The importance of wind
    #1487 - 04/20/08 02:32 PM (16 years, 7 months ago)

Before:

2.5 weeks later:

There was just not enough light, that was one problem, but I was limited at the time so I added a fan, and sure enough it made all the difference.

You can find how to wire them as a remote ballast online. And you can customize a reflector. It'll save you lots of money.

I totally agree. I keep a fan on my plants at all times. It's connected to my light timer too.

Wind/Air is key especially if you are dealing with strains that can't support themselves like alot of the kush strains. If you keep strong air flow on them you will have thicker stalkier stalks and branches which will help with not only support but nutrient uptake according to Gorge Cervantes.

Correct, the thicker the stem the greater the vascular uptake,  and wind will increase stem thickness.
