What are you reading?

At the moment I'm on Jack Kerouac's 'On The Road' and I'm about halfway through the book. I gotta say, it's a brilliant book, can't believe I haven't read it any earlier.
Apart from that, the ones pictured I have already read though I'd recommend any of them to you all; particularly 'The Heroin Diaries' by Nikki Sixx which is a complete eye opener to the world of addiction and that type of lifestyle.

Suprisingly i found a copy at Goodwill to replace my lost one. And they usually don't have anything worthwhile

Nice Find! Re-reading a book tells me it's gotta be a good one. I'll try it sometime. Only book I've ever bothered to re-read is Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas.

I'm sitting back after a day of work relaxing waiting on my bag to show up.
Speaking of which time to empty the one I still have on hand.

it's nice to keep the cycle sustained like that. get a bag just prior to your old one running out. Since i grew my own that hasn't been a problem. If I had a pound more I could smoke for 2 years without having to re up. Hopefully that shit works out like that. I wouldn't think as many people would be reading on here as opposed to shroomery. It's been interesting to see the differences between the posters of the two sites over the last year. The members on each site are quite different. I prefer weed because it's a part of my everyday life and has been for 10+ yrs. And im still relatively normal! Oh yeah, back to my point about the differences. I post every once in a while on the shroomerys current book thread. This summer I haven't been reading books too much. Mostly just internet stuff. I probably spend 80% of my days reading or writing though. Sometimes I think I use the word I too much.

I hear that I do.
I wouldn't even be buying weed if I didn't lose that grow house a month or so back, fucking cops.
The good thing is they can't put me there.
I'd love to seen thier faces when they went looking for a dead man.

Goethe's Faust is my one and only hero. What a fantastic fuckin' book. I read a translation where they kept the iambic pentameter, it is very difficult to not get lost in the rhythm of the language. If you like Faust DEFINITELY read The Master and Margarita...great!

Check out the original edition that was just released. It was before Kerouac went in and edited out all the gritty details. It's like one long paragraph with really bad grammar but it's even more entertaining than the original.

Yeah I think it was Benzedrine. You can almost feel it too, the way the story moves. I got through almost a fourth of it in one sitting because it goes so fast.
