HELP WITH FEEDING!!!!

I'm in soil and fed previously with fox farm 5-5-5 from start to finish and had small yields. I know that high levels of N are needed for vegging and Potassium for flowering but what in soil is the best? Brands/N-p-k breakdown (for veg and flower)/feeding schedule.
I fed 1x per month as recommended on the package and used the top dressing/watering method previously. I felt it wasn't as successful as possible. So yea i need help.ALL ADVICE WELCOME.

something like 20-10-10 for veg and 10-20-10 for flower is what i use. Plus ur trace elements...u should also be feeding every other time u water, but make sure u arent burning. If u got a pH meter, use it.

I use Fox Farm Grow Big (6-4-4) for veg and then Fox Farm Tiger Bloom (2-8-4) for flowering. Some growers also use Fox Farm Big Bloom (0.01-0.3-0.7) at the end of the flowering cycle and on young clones/seedlings. It's completely organic but in my opinion I've found it useless given how much you have to use for one dose (4oz per gallon). Not to mention, it is relatively high in heavy metals like cadmium and arsenic in comparison to tiger bloom. Some people swear by it tho, so it's up to you on that one.
Like myco said, I fert every other watering, cept when they're seedlings. In that case, two waterings inbetween each fert. Good luck!

thanks a lot. I got some 10-54-10 for 1$ and figured it would be better than nothing. It's to be used as ofter as every water, should i fert. less frequently? Also i read about feeding too. I'm going to make compost tea for this application. Any idea the frequency of something like that. Is it monthly application or more frequent?
